  1. Why does my xbox series s needs 10 minutes to start a game after turning the console on

After i turn on my console, i have to wait exactly 10 minutes, before i start a game. Otherwise when i start a game earlier, the game for example fifa freezes and i have to turn the game off and wait in the xbox menu for the remaining time till the 10 minutes run out. I dont know what to do and i have this problem for a long time.

    :)

Hello, thanks for entering in contact here on our community

My name is João, I'm a Xbox gamer just like you and I will be glad to help you in your matter today!

I'm sorry you are having problems with your console.

Could you tell me if it happens on every game?

Also, which Xbox are you using?

Can’t run my xbox s Call of duty mf2

    Hi Manish!

Did you mean you have the Xbox Series S console?

Does the issue happen to your other games or just with MW2?

Simply power cycle your console and see if that fixes the issue. Press and hold Xbox's power button for 10 sec until it turns off. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

Please also do the same with your router. Unplug it for at least a minute before turning it back on.

    Fortnite won’t launch

When this issue happens on my sons Xbox and it only happens with this game, then we reset the console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it turns off completely. You need to hold the button for 10 seconds. After it’s off,
unplug it for a minute or so and then turn it back on and try again.

Which profile on which Xbox needs to be set as the home Xbox?

Okay sorry if I’m still not getting it. I don’t know why I can’t comprehend it. Lol

    But to clarify:

My profile (game pass buyer) on my console (series S) needs to be set as home Xbox.

My mom’s profile on her console (Xbox one) needs to be set as home Xbox. My profile on that console does not.

    What do I do?

Hi Midnight-Misery, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

Midnight-Misery, just to clarify, there is no Xbox One Series S console, it is an Xbox One S, the Xbox Series S is a completely different console. If the button on the console does not light up, it indicates that it is not receiving the proper voltage or there is already a hardware failure in the power supply.

If it is not already a major hardware problem that will necessarily require a repair, try turning on the console using the procedure below

Turn off the console and then unplug the power cord to make sure the console is completely turned off.

    - Wait 1 minute.

    - Reconnect the power cord.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (used to sync controllers on the console) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue pressing the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - I should listen to two ignition tones a couple of seconds apart.

Note: If you do not hear two ignition tones after 15 seconds, it means that this failed. Similarly, if you hear a screeching of "off", that also means that this failed.

    - You must release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power tone.

    - The console should start and show the problem resolution screen.

The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition and Xbox Series S does not have an EJECT button. On this console you only need to hold the BIND button, and then press the Xbox button

Please note that this is just a public forum, I will respond in a short period of time as soon as possible, apologizing in advance for any delay in the response. I am simply a user trying to provide information and knowledge that may be useful to others, I am not an employee of Microsoft.
