    Why does my xbox series s contoller not function properly at all on my PC.


    Whenever I try to use my Xbox Series S controller, the controller buttons do not correspond with the binds I have in any game I play at all. The binds are completely jumbled, some buttons do the same as others, some buttons don't do anything at all. My biggest issue is ANYTIME, in or out of games, that I press down on the left stick, an on screen keyboard pops up and it is so infuriating. Why is this a thing? Why does this controller not function properly? Every single xbox contoller I find does this. I was forced to buy a play station controller but now that doesn't work on gamepass games.

    I'm sorry to hear about the issues you have with your controller. Have you tried resetting the controller to it's default settings?

    You may reset your Xbox controller to its default settings using the Xbox Accessories App:

    1. Select your controller in the app

    2. Choose Configure

    3. Select a profile

    4. Select Edit

    5. Select Restore to default

    You can also reset your Xbox controller by holding down the Pair button until it vibrates and turns off. After resetting, the controller will disconnect from all devices, and you'll need to pair it again.

    I’m getting an error ⚠️ message: “Make sure the code you entered matches the code on your TV. Then try again.” I entered the code correctly and keep getting the same error message! Need help!

    Thank you for responding. I was able to get this figured out. When using my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I continuously got the error message. When I used my iPad, I was able to complete the setup immediately. Not sure why, but got it done and everything is functioning properly. LOVE MY XBOX Series S!
