why does my xbox one x keep freezing

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Try turning it off, pulling the power to it for a minute or two, then powering it back up. If that makes no difference, you could try booting to the recovery menu, then doing a factory reset, choosing the option to keep your games/apps installed.

To do that: -

1. Turn off the console, pull the power to it for a minute or so, then plug it back in.

2. Press and hold the sync and eject buttons on the console. With those held in, tap the power button on the console to turn it on. You will hear the startup chime as normal, but keep sync/eject held in until you hear a second chime, then you can let go.

That will boot you to the recovery menu where you can do the reset. If you choose the option to keep your games/apps installed, you won't need to reinstall any of those once it's done, however you will need to run through the initial setup of the console again, including signing back into your account, so make sure you know your login details!

It's not guaranteed to work, as it may be a hardware error that's causing the issue, but if it's some kind of glitch with the system software, that should hopefully sort it out.

My Xbox One keeps freezing, I don't know why.

I would like to clarify, did you also reset the console removing everything? Because if this keeps happening that will be the last resort.
