Why does my xbox one series s never connect to my wifi

Hello J, generally wi-fi connection problems may be related to some factors such as distance from your equipment and your modem/routers, configuring DHCP on the equipment, and setting up router network frequency.

Usually they come with both active frequencies, the active 2.4 and 5.0Ghz frequencies.

Try to check the distances and if there are no equipment or obstacles that can interfere with the wi-fi signal.

If you have access to the modem/router settings check the frequencies 5Ghz Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz networks and also the frequencies, by definition they come in automatic but you can check each of them and change it.

Also, if it`s possible try connecting your console to the network cable, and try resetting the console by keeping games and Apps.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

yes i have done all the above..if i have it connected via ethernet it is fne but when i go to use the wifi it wont work,,says console is connected but when i try to access my games says a connection error,,, does it on my series s and my xbox one s .. and a friends series x is doing it

The same thing is happening to me now my XBOX ONE S is not connecting to my wifi why.

ok so does anyone know why my xbox 360 s cant connect to live using wifi but the one that has an Ethernet cord can?? and no its not a moden, ip, or port forwarding problem
