Why does my Xbox disconnect from 5g WiFi when I’m downloading games?

I have Xbox plugged into Ethernet on router and surface pro 3 on 5g WiFi in same room with Xbox and was still getting disconnections. No one else was using the WiFi and was still happening.

The account is not part of the insider program . Its connect through a 4g Huawei router. The xbox is connected by 5g wifi.

the download speed does not improve if I switch to wired.

Can anyone help me out here? I have an Xbox One X and for some reason when I connect to the Wifi Extender's network, it connects, but it shows slow speeds and then eventually disconnects.

I have a Netgear Nighthawk EX7300 Wifi Mesh Extender (https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-range-extenders/EX7300.aspx) and everything works fine. I am connected to the 2G band with my laptop right now, and my iPad is connected to the 5G
band. I just ran a Speedtest on the iPad and it shows 278Mbps download and 277 upload.

Yet when I connect to Xbox Live on that same 5G band, it shows something like 15Mbps downloading a game, and then flat out disconnects or
won't connect when playing a game, like Grand Theft Auto, for example.

I'm okay with technology and can follow directions if someone knows how to fix this. I am
not tech-savvy enough to know ports and NAT and MAC addresses, etc...so the more detailed the help the better.

Does it operate in AP, or Extender mode?

Have you enabled mesh feature?

Same here, constant disconnections. Work perfectly in windows 8.1 even with very high detail. Using surface pro 3. I put the Xbox on Ethernet and tablet on a separate 5g WiFi network in same room with router and was still getting disconnections.

So I need to be disconnected from WiFi, wipe the cloud saves and local saves and I should be good? I’m on the Xbox and am not sure how to stop a particular game from saving to the cloud. I want my other games to save to cloud just not this particular game.
