Why does my Xbox design lab controller have stick drift?

I have had my controller for about a year and a half and it started to stick drift after having it for under a year of owning it. This is very infuriating because the controller was about $90 and the stick drift makes games almost unplayable. I really like how the controller turned out, I am just disappointed that I can’t use the controller.

Sorry to hear you have stick drift. If you have cleaned and reset the controller and its still bad, you might find WD40 Specialist Contact Cleaner might help. I know it helps with Switch Joy Cons.

I made it on the xbox design lab and order of there , the problem thatci have is in games like first person shooters the remote will starting drifting in game when im not moving the analog stick

Have you tried to use the Xbox Accessories thumbstick recalibration tool?

To open the Xbox Accessories app on your console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, then under Profile & system, select Settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets.

Before you recalibrate your controller, check to see if there’s a firmware update available for your controller. If there is, update your controller before you recalibrate.

Select Recalibration options.

Select the specific thumbstick you want to recalibrate (left or right).

Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the recalibration.
