    Why does my X-box series X lag slow much vs PS5?


    Xbox Series X

    During online multiplayer play such as the Call of Duty games, the Xbox cannot handle graphics and more times than not is delayed behind other players.

    It’s not the internet, the multiple modems, routers and various setups have been tried and tested for more than two years. These issues date back to Xbox one.

    also Variable refresh rate will not stay on.

    Xbox live struggles to sign in.

    These problems are not constantly ruining game play on the PS5 or PC.

    Good graphics that move slow are such a huge negative that I feel like I made a really bad decision. What are the remedied if any to fixing this issue?

    All of these are questions for activision, as they control Call of Duty. They are the only ones equipped to research and solve your problem

    As many other developers have had no issues with high quality graphics on the Xbox

    What is the make and model of your TV, is the firmware updated, and game mode turned on.

    Pretty sure they're not using Vulkan on Xbox.

    How they run depends on what console you're using. On Series X they're excellent, and Doom Eternal even has raytraced reflections on the Series X hardware. The RT can drop the FPS to just below 60 occasionally, but it's largely flawless.

    On the now older Xbox One S their resolution is limited to around 900P, but they run much smoother and in higher res on the One X and Series X.

    If you've got a Series X, Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus and Wolfenstein Youngblood play really well. No major performance issues. Digital Foundry on YouTube have conducted extensive tests on these games. I would check them out.

    Why is Xbox such a poor running console? I purchased my son a new ps5 and me the xbox x, son has zero issues with ps5. After 2 days i am ready to sale the series x and go to ps5! WZ nor BF2042 work online! This is a terrible product!
