    Why does my SX crash on all BH new big games??


    I've had my SX since not long after release. Had no problems at all until Starfield (which I payed for early access) came out. Now all big new games since then crash and make the games unplayable. I've done the factory resets, cleared the caches and everything else the troubleshooting guides have said. But it still crashes. My older games and smaller new ones seem fine. But anything over 60gig is unplayable.

    Does anyone have any idea why this is so. I've been with Xbox since day one. But am seriously thinking over going to the dark side (playstation) as I've not heard them having so many problems.

    Bright purple and green textures in FH 5 and other games?

    Sorry, this does not help at all. I'm on a SX.

    FH 5 was fine in my old 1080p TV.

    However, it's the only game that's doin this. No issues with other SX or One X enhanced games, except for RDR 1.

    Xbox Series X keeps shutting off

    Same here, my day one SX died in May due to a power supply unit failure and now my second SX that was replaced is now having these crashes. Started on August 1st after 60 plus hours in Scarlet Nexus SX version then RE Village SX after I completed everything in the game then Deaths Door SX will not even make it to the starting menu. It seems the only games I can play are ones not optimized for SX titles. Microsoft really needs to fix these issues because by this Friday i'll have my third replacement and honestly scared to even play anything on it.

    Splinter cell conviction on series x: constant crashes

    Same here on Series X. Random crashes then and now.

    Network isn’t the problem, a system reset doesn’t work either.

    SC Conviction is, in my case, the only game with this behavior, I play many 360 titles on SX and OneX.

    This has been covered and been mentioned as it has been a big concern. Right now, yes you can use your external SSD to play Xbox One and Xbox 360 games but you will not be able to play stored SX games on the external SSD. To be able to able to play SX
    games they need to installed on the Series X's SSD not the external one.
