Why does my realm keep crashing?

Hi,

me and my friends are on a realm and for me (owner) and my friend who are both on PC as soon we load the game up it will immediately crash, like sometimes we get on and see one frame and the entire game will crash, i have uninstalled reinstalled and it hasnt fixed i have ensured none of the packs clash and it still breaks the world is not corrupt as my other friend on console is able to log on and play with no issues i cannot find any other reasons for this and am at a bit of a loss i do not want to revert back to a previous save as it clearly isnt an issue with the save data as some players are still able to play i am also completely up to date with MC updates as is my other friend who cannot get on.

just a quick update our friend on console is on 1.21.81 while the people on PC are on 1.21.82 will this be an issue even if i am the owner

Let’s try some steps to isolate the issue. Press the Win + R key to open the Run dialog.

Type cmd and click OK to open Command Prompt.

In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and hit Enter to execute:

WSReset.exe

Try installing your game through MS store app.

Hi doug,

You could try an
offline update instead. This will update the console offline. Sometimes updates glitch or become corrupt. This will be next step if the factory reset doesn't work.

Hi there,

is your console set to Instant-On if so please try to set it to Energy-Safe mode to see if that makes any difference.

It will fully turn off each time when powered down, so boot time will be a bit longer, but it's good to know if it helps (or not)

Another thing to try would be to try a factory reset (with keeping games and apps installed) to see if that helps anything.

It sounds like it could be a connection issue, I've had the same problem with some games and had to end up reinstalling the games. But more and likely what's causing it is there might be a file that is corrupt that's making the game force crash.
