why does my point redeem keep saying "something went wrong" even when i have enough points...

@HyruleBalverine i tried redeeming on the console and it said its invalid...and when i try on pc it says the card i redeemed is of 1500 points and asks if i want to confirm or cancel...i click Confirm and i get a message saying ''something went wrong ,
try again later.''.. i've tried like 15 times since yesterday and keep getting the same result. :/

Kindly try clearing your console's cache by following the steps below;

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

If it still doesn't work, kindly try using both a wireless and wired connection (if possible try using a mobile hotspot as well) and see if it will make any difference.

Why does aim drift even matter that much? If your reticule is standing still at almost any point in time you're doing something wrong.

This does not work either. It says -1 microsoft point and then oops something went wrong. I can however purchase it with my account. Its just his account and my other two brothers accounts that were part of my family pack.
