    Why does my new account have 2 gamertags?


    So i already had an xbox account from playing minecraft mobile. I just got my console and i logged into that account and then i also made a new account as my main. I put xbox live gold on it and i dont know if the second gamertag appearded after it before i put live on it. The gamertag i want to have doesnt show up when im adding friends it shows up as the one i dont know how it got there. When i go to change the name it says its the peaches tag i made but others are seeing a gamertag eith lamp in it. Does anyone know how to make the other tag go away and me only have the gamertag i made with the account??

    Thanks for your reply. We have 2 Accounts and 2 Gamertags. One worked perfectly, the other just created a new one. Not sure why...

    How to switch Gamertag to other Microsoft account in Windows 7 ?

    Does your new account actually have a gamertag associated with it already, that's just one of the reasons why it wouldn't let you change it.

    Does the profile picture and progress on the accounts its different? You can't have 2 different Xbox accounts on the same email, what could be its that you have 2 display name one for the new Xbox gamertag system and one for the games that do not support the new one

    No messages appear for me on the Account Overview page. And i had sent a ticket about a week ago however never recevied a reply, but i will send another one. Also if its to do with my WLID why is it that when 1. I create a brand new account it still 80151103
    errors me and 2. Why does a perfectly working Gamertag which works on another Xbox not work on mine? I feel its something to do with the update thats not allowing me, rather then the my WLID account.

    The new gamertag you have, does it have the suffix or any special characters in it? Or do you show as having 2 gamertags in other areas?
