    Why does my LT & RT have a cracking noise when clicking it?


    Every time I use my controller to play any game. My LT & RT have a cracking noise. When I blow air in the controller, the cracking noise stops. When I dont touch my controller. The cracking comes back. Any help to fix this issue ?

    Hey Kris,

    The controller does work fine. I can be pressing the RT and i can feel the trigger cracking. Once I blow air inside. The cracking noise goes away but comes back eventually

    Sounds like it needs to be repaired which would mean it gets taken apart. Does it still actually work?

    Probably some broken part. Which is very strange, i rarely see this.

    Left Trigger suddenly unresponsive in most games - Xbox Series S

    Yes i think it is a hardware problem. It was bought second hand. I just tried cleaning it, blew into the crack and LT became completely unresponsive. Then i gave it a whack and it started working again in the games. It's still not as sensitive as RT, so I'm guessing it may be temperamental.

    I've ordered a new controller but is there a way to fix this? Does the inside need to be cleaned?
