    Why does my gameshareing not work?


    I just started to GameShare with a friend, who has gamepass ultimate. I try to hop onto a game that is an online game, it keeps bringing me to a page that says "choose a plan" and it keeps doing that even after both of us have reset our xboxes, can anyone help me with this? We had been gamsharing in the passed with no problems, and we just got 1 of the 5 tries, I am able to play all of his owned games, gold games,EA play games, and his gamepass games. This situation is super annoying, if anyone has an answer it would be very appreciated, thanks.

    What game is it? Are you tyring to play DLC from that game? I ask as some DLCs can't be used through GS

    Why is it now that in order for the gamesharing to work for me, I have to have both my gamertag and my gameshare partner/friend signed in? Thanks.

    It could mean your friend is having it shared with him.

    Either way, it sounds like his account isn't being recognized as the owner of this game.

    Note: Do keep in mind that this title was also part of free-to-play days so make sure you aren't installing that from your libraries.

    I believe when it comes to destiny 2 gamesharing wont work as its linked to the account it first launches on
    Gamesharing does work on Destiny 2. It's only the preorder bonuses that do not work with the gamesharing as they are for the person that preorders/bought the game.
