why does my gamedpads righ stick keep moving on controlling my character when im not moving it

No-I mean sticky as in worn out.The stick doesnt spring back to neutral position like it did when it was new.Its like I am locked in a constant struggle with my controller over which way my character moves.If I set my controller down my character will keep
moving while I'm gone. Although I did spill chili on a controller once.

If you stand still in a game does your character move by itself as well? Just trying to rule out stick drift. Rare occasions occur where a new controller does this.

No, in Destiny 2, my character remains quiet. And in Thimbleweed Park, the cross does not move at all.

The behavior is really different between the games and the console menus.

When i said this,Like when i move my controller just a little it does a full 360 for my pov.

I meant when i move my analog stick just a little it turns and looks really fast,like uncontrollably fast.

Never heard of that one. I have to get a new controller about once a year, as constant holding forward and click to sprint makes my character move forward slowly without moving the stick.
