    It's come up with:

    Network Connected

    Internet Connected

    Xbox Live Connect

    But the live status does say there is a service alert.

    Is there a firewall port on our router that is required to be kept open?

    I too am having an issue trying to connect to XBOX Live. I have an excellent wireless connection to my network and then to the Internet, but when it gets to XBOX Live, it does not pass; and it says all my services are up. I have one other concern, I am
    part of the public Beta group. Does this have anything to do with why I cannot connect to XBOX Live? I was just on last night playing Borderlands 2, and now this morning I cannot even get connected. I hope this gets fixed quickly because I only get the
    weekends to play and I have been waiting this game forever.
