    Why does my game crash on one specific game.


    It's only on a specific game where my game crashes when I'm playing with my friend. Also when I clip a moment on Fortnite my controller disconnects. On Fortnite I play with this on specific friend and my game crashes the first time but then when reopen the game its fine. With all of my other friends the game works fine but with that one specific friend my game just randomly crashes. Please help me solve these problems it's really annoying.

    I don't believe this is a hardware issue. If it is, they need to tell us specifically what is happening that makes our Xbox faulty on only one game. Never heard of that before. Why does every other game work fine with no crashing? Only the Xbox Series X/S version of BF2042 is crashing for ppl on the Series X/S after going through all of the troubleshooting steps, different controllers (someone suggested elite series 2 is a possible cause) etc. Is EA going to address this issue or can we get a more specific technical explanation?

    Hi doug,

    You could try an
    offline update     instead. This will update the console offline. Sometimes updates glitch or become corrupt. This will be next step if the factory reset doesn't work.
