    Why Does My Controller Flash Every Time I Turn It On?


    Every time I restart my computer and get on it and turn on my controller (which is a elite series 2 and its plugged in) it just flashes, I also know that the usb works because I have used the same USB on a different controller and the elite controller flashes indicating that it is charging from the cord.

    Xbox console wont fully turn off

    Mine does this every time I turn it off via the controller's guide button. i normally have to hit the console button again for it to turn off properly. I never have downloads running when I am turning it off, so I don't understand why it does this.

    Controllers wont power on system, if so, then won't sync

    I have the exact same problem.

    I can use the controllers for any length of time once connected but as soon as I turn the console off the controller gets disconnected once I turn the unit back on.

    If I try to turn the unit back on via the controller the LED on the controller simply flashes and the console stays off.

    If I turn the console on manually the controller isn't connected and no amount of re'syncing will fix it.

    The only way for me to reconnect the controller is to do a full system reset and then use the controller to turn on the console.

    Really annoying having to full reset my console every time I want to use it.

    Considering returning the console.

    May I know which Xbox console are you using? Kindly turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on then check it again.
