why does my character mover slower than a snail in black ops 2 ?

Hi all

Hope i am posting in the right area for this. I have googled and tried everything and asked everyone i can ask but nothing has worked. When i play COD Black ops 2 on my 360 my character moves slower than a snail, I always get out guned and for some reason
even with no uav up from enemy side they seem to know exactly where i am at. Also o matter what i do or change i seem to stay at moderate nat setting which not really a big deal since i don't chat much. So i am looking for other ideas as to why my toon moves
so slow? I have a 6mbps download and a 3.8mbps upload which is above the requested. My 360 is hardwired and my sensitivity settings are up as high they will go. Please any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advanced

Controller problem

I was playing Black Ops recently and my character was moving slow or unresponsive and I can't sprint properly it takes him 4-5 seconds to move properly can anyone help?

Why does Level 53 move so slowly? Next to Level 53 a SNAIL is a JET PLANE!!

 

Yeah in multiplayer with my search set to "best" but that did not help either. Thanks for your reply

 

It could possibly be to do with who you're playing with, possible glitched lobbies maybe, to put you at a major disadvantage, try playing a private game?

 

I play the custom mode and in there its alot better no super runners or super aimers and i by far do not claim to be the best player to start with but i can average 30+ kills in custom and in multiplay im lucky to get 1 lol. Was thinking maybe there was
something wrong with my 360 but gameplay is also the same on my daughters 360 but hers is connecting wirelessly so not sure what it is i am missing. I just bought a new ethernet wire that supposedly transfer at 1000mbps but it is a wrapped wire would a flat
wire work better?

 

I would be surprised if its your connection, otherwise you would have this problem with other games including latency issues on the dashboard, marketplace, pretty much everywhere. You could try that though

 

Ok i will try to track one down for the length i need, I was told that wrapped or coiled wire was better for not having any interference not sure if that is true or not. If it is not a connection issue any ideas what i could try next? I have talked to xbox
support and they could not offer any ideas. Don't think its a disc or drive issue either as the play is the same on both 360's in my home. Thank you so much for your time and help

 

Well if it occurs on both your consoles, same disc, and with the same connection, it's possible it could be the disc, if possible I'd say give another disc a go. I honestly don't know I've never experienced that myself before, first thought was somebody
had tampered with your account which caused it, but if it happens on your daughter's 360 too it could really only be the disc.

Ok i got another cod 2 on the way it should be here by the end of the week (i got tired of wrestling my daughter for my disc lol) its a brand new one so i will update when i get it at the same time i will get a flat speed wire as well and see. I am the guy
that things shouldn't happen happens rofl so hopefully i will be updating with good news later in the week. Thanks again

 

Hope it works out for you dude, also just another thing to try is to clear your system cache and install the update for the game again, see if that helps.

 

Hi again, Well got the new disc and my issue is still the same which i kinda figured it wasn't the disc. I also tried deleting profile and clearing the cache re-booting the 360 and re-download my profile and this did not help. So i am still at a lost my
net is above what xbox says i need to run bops 2 not sure what to do next.uuugggghhhhh

 

can you try sign in your gamertag on a friends place and test if your soldier is running there as he should?

 

The only possibility I can now think of is to contact support and see if its a problem on your account's end, they can look into it further.

@jackreverant-I had thought of that too but would it be Xbox support or Activision support that i would ask? Also i was wondering if you are running your internet thru a router or modem? And did drop all your firewalls on it? I did see a post somewhere that
Activision/Treyarch sent out a supposed fix by say to drop all firewall settings leaving people wide open for hackers and such, I am not to sure on that but if it would help guess a could unplug everything from my router that i wouldn't be using at the moment
and shut down my WiFi as well and hope I'd still be safe lol.
