Why does my battlefield hardline disc keep on saying its unreadable but its new?

So the disc will read properly while the game is installing, but when you try to launch the game after it's installed, it's telling you that the disc is unreadable?

The reason it seems to be working when playing from the disc is that your xbox hasn't had any reason to access the data in the damaged part of the disc yet. When it does need to you will get a disc unreadable error or the game will freeze.

When installing it needs to access the whole disc which is why it always fails.

And to answer your question it will say disc unreadable at some point when the game needs to access the damaged part of the disc.

As you've already tried one of those disc repair services then your best option is to get a new disc.
