Why does minecraft launcher never sign me in to my microsoft account?

Kindly also repair the launcher. Right-click the Launcher. Press “App Settings.” Browse the settings and hit “Repair,” followed by “Reset.” Let the Launcher restore to its previous settings and try to launch Minecraft.

It helped. After installing the win7/8.1 minecraft launcher it allowed me

to sign into my microsoft account.

When I sign in to Microsoft to edit my mojang account, it gives me no options for minecraft java. I sign into my microsoft account in the mojang launcher and I'm met with "invalid account" responses.

If you have the Xbox App, sign out first at the Microsoft Store App and sign in with the account you wish to play with. Then do the same on the Xbox App, completely sign out, then sign in with the account you wish you with to play with. Then in the Minecraft Launcher sign out completely then attempt to log back in with your Microsoft Account. Let me know if you're still having issues, we can try something else.

I did not understand. You created another account with the same email of this account that was giving the Minecraft Launcher error?

When you try to sign in to your Microsoft account on the Microsoft website above it signs in or it shows that the account does not exist?
