    Why does microsofts account sign ins take hours to register


    My sons xbox/microsoft/who knows its so poorly laid out account that he uses for minecraft takes literal hours. to acknowledge that he is signed in. When is microsoft going to address this? There is no such issues on any other devices we have from all other brands only microsoft and xbox equipment have this problem. Why is this allowed to be?

    Hello lost, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    Which device is your son playing on please? If it's a console then please try powercycling it by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it for 5 minutes. If it's on PC make sure that the game and PC are fully updated. If there are any updates run them. After that shut down the PC.

    During the time that the device is off please unplug your modem/router for at least 60 seconds to clear any possible issues there. Once the internet is back up and running you can restart your device and see if the start time has improved.

    they want it with the Kinect so they can rip you off even more. Also they are looking at the resale point that's why they only will take trade ins if it has a Kinect with it. My gamestop has a sign up for X1 and ps4 that they will only take trade ins on
    the system with cameras included.

    most sign ins work besides the pc game pass sign in and the minecraft microsoft login. it seems anything with a pop up window to sign in does not work

    I'm not really an expert at all of what is going on with Xbox One and its 24 hour check-ins but do you know why the actually reason of the check-ins is?

    I purchased the Xbox live gold membership but it's not working

    I've gotten the same problem. Tried to hard reset, log out account, delete account from xbox and log back in but I still cannot join my friends party or play any online games.

    It's been like this for an hour already since this post, why is a registered purchase taking so long to be recognised to the xbox? Microsoft hurry up and fix this!!!
