Why does Microsoft use shady tactics and not honor warranties?

I purchased an xbox Elite controller with the Microsoft Complete warranty from the Microsoft web store and now it says my warranty is void. while the original manufacturers warranty (1yr) is void I purchased the complete warranty for an extra $20 usd for 3 years. Ive been hung up on 4 times from support on hold for about an hour at least total transferred from support to sales then back then hung up on.

They have asked that I provide a pdf file for the transaction in a file share E-mail ...which I did. Then they said they needed to confirm my E-mail by sending me an E-mail and having me send it back to them..... the issue is that they changed the date on the receipt I had sent them to an earlier date THEY CHANGED MY RECEIPT DATE! and wanted me to send them that one. The first screenshot is from Microsoft.com account Oct 3rd 2020 . the second is my confirmation E-mail Oct 3rd 2020 the last one is the receipt they sent me today 8/4/2023 that says May 9 2019 which is a fabrication and they still haven't resolved the issue.

You've shipped your console to them three times? You're getting the same one back?

Is it possible that when they test it at their location it works without issue? If so, could it be something else - power supply, location of the console, etc.?
