Why does xbox claim that fun trash talk is acceptable but ban ppl based on the recipient being offended.? A player openly admitted to cheating in Shellshock live vecause "they wanted a daily win". Rather than argue for two hours about how that ruins the
game I told the recipient to " suck my wet fart through a twizzler". No racism, no cursing, and zero of what I really wanted to say. After this message i chose to block the individual, less than 10 minutes after the block I recieved my enforcement action message.
I appealed explaining and was declines within an hour or two on the grounds harrassment is unacceptable. This affects my streaming, tournament play, and literally takes money out of my pocket. I reported the cheating yet shockingly no nezsage from xbox about
my complaint making xbox live "safer". What does one have to do to speak to somebody with half a brain about how people really talk online to appeal this and not aome clearly automated process or guy clicking a yes or no box while only reading one line? It
took me hours to get xbox to take my money last time i was on phone support so thats not an option.

PLEASE HELP This is rediculous.

I understand, however reports cant be actioned upon immediately and the effect of a ban or suspension could take a week or more for one person and be immediate for another.

Your report will be investigated, however it requires evidence and time to be actioned.

where as communications can be reviewed much quicker and this is why communication bans are handled in a shorter amount of time.

The best cause of action is to set your messages to friends only, and communicate with others on the service in an appropriate manner.

So if im correct in your reply gamwrs are to save a set list of acceptable trash talk lines and only use them while the games they pay money for are ruined by trolls ? At whixh point is it not worth the money to purchase games or xbox live and stick to
free titles?

So despite having to answer a questionnaire before appealing that makes it a clear point cheating is bannable means nothing ? Toxic language is a matter of opinion. Nobody trash talks by messaging "your bad". They can block a message, there is no way for
any player to block cheaters who openly admit to it when reporting it does nothing. Fair gameplay should be more important than cheaters being offended. Its an online gaming community after all....

reports are always checked and you should never use toxic language. I suggest you read the code of conduct on xbox live. The only way to appeal is to open a case review on enforcement.xbox.com

Microsoft recently put out an article on acceptable trash talk. It was kind of funny. Also, believe it or not I’ve had people trash talk by saying your bad.
