Why does Microsoft keep locking my account?

It began God knows how long ago. I got locked out of my account and I couldn't get it back because of the phone verification anti-spam system. It makes no sense because I could change my password without passing it and I did multiple times, yet it still would refuse sending me the SMS code for no reason. I just gave up after some time and got back to it months later and it finally let me use my very own phone number.

So I finally passed the anti-spam SMS code thing and because my account had been hacked that time, I changed everything and enabled phone authenticator app. But a week later(or maybe sooner, I noticed it today - a week later) my account got locked again and it wouldn't let me use my phone number AGAIN, so I used a different one because I had the opportunity to and it worked.

The weird thing is that my account haven't been hacked this time and I didn't get any warnings or anything, Microsoft just locked my account and let me unlock it for no reason. I don't even use my account for anything apart from playing Minecraft from time to time. No one tried getting into my account and if someone did try, I would know and why would Microsoft lock MY account because SOMEONE is trying to hack it?

It just makes no sense. Is there any explanation for this and how to fix it? Thanks for every reply in advance

You would have to try, add an alternative email so that later you can make it main and put your data to that new email, otherwise as you say they will continue to block your account.

Also why do the people who lock accounts never look at the submit a request forms theres a lot of people who have submitted like 20,000 forms and we never get a reply

“You can use any phone number to request the security code.

The phone number doesn't need to be associated with your account.

The phone doesn't need to be a smartphone, or connected to the internet, it just needs to be able to receive text messages.

You may have to create a new password.”

That is the reason then. The terms of service forbid the making of multiple accounts as your activity looks like your trying to avoid bans.

The accounts and console are linked so MS can see when you create multiple accounts within a small time window for the same console. Its unusual behaviour so it gets flagged. Likely the console has been flagged and this is why your accounts keep getting
band.

Gold is also linked to an account not an xbox. There is a very high chance your xbox console has been flagged for some reason, you will likely need to speak with a support person to understand if that is the case.
