Why should a developer pay Microsoft $40,000 to patch a game when the holes that allowed those mods to take place in the first place still exist.

all the old developers should look at what Microsoft is doing with there developers. allowing them to have time to make there game, so the games don't come out broken or need to postpone them for whatever reason.

it's not the game developers, it's the publishers and parent companies with their shareholders and marketing strategies that are the problem.

they force deadlines on the devs to get games out and then force them to put in microtransactions and other aggressive monetisation methods (cutting content and locking it behind a paywall).

Blame the developers. I am sure MS has had a patch size limit in place for years now and all other developers can meet the restriction so why not the Payday 2 team? This along with plenty of other examples are why development teams shouldnt rush games to
the market, and wait to release a more polished product.

Sorry, but that error code does mean it is a region issue. With region locked content your account region has to match your physical location. Since not all content is region locked that is why you are able to download some content but not others. Region
locks are put in place by the developers.

So why did Microsoft remove the Avatar "lancer" item from the market place?
