Why does it say, “you don’t own this game”?

It can be on a different account of yours. Please check all Microsoft accounts that you own.

It isn’t there but I have achievements for the game already from Xbox 360 and Xbox one. I remember purchasing the game back in 2018 .

It means that you’re not signed in under the account where the game was purchased. Let’s validate, can you please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and check if you can see the game order from there stated as “completed”?

If yes, simply remove and re-add your account.

REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

ADD ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​

If not, please check all Microsoft accounts that you own.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, for some reason my Xbox didn't update it since the server slam beta and that's why it thought I didn't own the game. The only trick is you can't try to install it through the store, you'll have to do it through your game library.

I'm having the same issue and can verify that my card has successfully been charged the $100. I even played the game during the open and closed betas. When I view the game in the store it says I own it, but when I try to play now all it says is insert the disk and an error code: 0x82d40005.
