Why does it say I have to buy Minecraft again?

• Make sure that you have Migrated your account to Microsoft
  
• Login with the Xbox App on the PC using your Microsoft account
  
• Search for Minecraft Launcher
  
• Install the launcher
  
• Login with your Microsoft Account
  
• Look for Minecraft Bedrock then install it
  
• Remove the Old Minecraft launcher then use the new launcher you just installed to play the game

Please double-check that you're logged into the correct Microsoft account. Because there are times that users accidentally log into a different account that doesn't have the game linked.

And then visit the Microsoft Account Order History page: https://account.microsoft.com>; Order history to confirm the purchase is listed under your account.

Once you see the game from your Order history it means you have the game license and the game was purchased on that specific account.

The game license will give you access to the game.

This could totally be something manifesting from the fact that we are currently experiencing an Xbox Service outage regarding

Purchase and Content Usage. You might have to wait until it's back up.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
