Why does fortnite keep updating every day

Every day I get on my Xbox and I check to see if I can play fortnite but I can't because it says it needs to update and then I update it and the next day it restarts updating.

Even if you have done some of the steps below, please do them again, but in this order.

Uninstall the game, clear the local saved data, reset your console, and then reinstall the game.

After uninstalling the game, clear the local saved games.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.

On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games. This deletes games saved to your hard drive, but they'll still be saved to the cloud.

Then, reset the console:

Before you continue, make sure you've got the account sign-in information. You'll need it to log back into your console after the reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Finally, reinstall the game.

This happens every couple of days to me. I do a reset and it's fixed. My question is why does it keep happening?

Fortnite requires updates every 3 days unfortunately my download hasnt started by the time the next update comes out XBOX or microsoft help!!!

Hello, I am Eduardo Portillo and i want to ask you why does the videogame FORTNITE can´t be played without xbox live gold membership?, and will you let us play without gold membership? because fortnite is a free to play game in every part but on
Xbox it isn´t. Thank you for your comprehendance and keep me informe of this idea

You need gold because of the on-line play requirement.
