Why does Flight Simulator take so long to load on XBox Series X console?

The game takes a long time to load due to the large number of assets that has to unpack and load into ram. This is the same way it is on very fast high-end gaming PCs as well. Load the game, get a drink and a snack come back and it’ll be ready to go

May I know if you have installed the base game + offline mode? (for a full 110GB approx size)

I ask this due to if you don't have installed the offline mode waiting time can be more than expected depending on your internet speed

If you have the complete game installed, where are you facing this waiting time?

When you want to fly or in every loading screen?

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.

So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)

If you’re inserting it, that tells me you bought the Windows disc version and live in Europe, or that you bought a copy of Flight Simulator X which is PC only. There is no Xbox disc release at this time.

No disc version of Flight Simulator will work on any Xbox

Flight Simulator 2020 only works on Series consoles, One consoles are not compatible

Sorry, but you cannot stream games from a PC to a console. Any idea why you thought this was possible?

Microsoft Flight Simulator is due to be releases for the Xbox Series X later this year.
