    Why does Flight Simulator on Windows through Xbox Game Pass redownload the entire game...


    I have a slow internet connection and limited storage space. I can't afford to wait three days to redownload the entire game every time it updates. How do I stop updates from redownloading the entire 128 GB game every time? How do I access the folder in which the game .exe and updates are stored in order to check on whether and where it is installed?

    Edit: Never mind. The game launcher calls it an "update", but it's actually that Gamepass only installs the (enormous, 1gb) launcher, and the remainder of the game assets have to be installed separately through the launcher.

    Hi there James! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I completely understand your frustration as a fellow MFS fan, as you said this is due to the installment of the launcher each time.

    Flight Simulator is not compatible with Xbox One, only Series consoles

    The only way to play on one is through the cloud from game pass ultimate

    Yes.... and there were also big letters on the Xbox that the Game pass could access MS flight simulator through cloud offering.... thats why I clicked YES,...... but after all complete and try to play - then it says " not available in your region"
