    Why does Diablo IV keep crashing?


    Hello. I've had LOTS of crashing issues with Diablo 4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled about 6 times now. Most recently this morning. I have followed the instructions and restarted my console. Did a power cycle down, then unplugged for 30 seconds. Then uninstalled and restarted. Then reinstalled the game at least twice out of the 6 times now. I have my internet hooked directly up to my Xbox. I've also tried all of this with wifi. Still having tons of crashing issues. I can be doing anything in the game. Fighting my way through a dungeon, checking my inventory, walking to a location, etc... Please let me know of a solution. I really want to play this game. I can barely get an hour of gameplay in before it crashes everytime.

    The only other game I've had this trouble with (at least this extensively) is Hogwarts legacy. That game crashed a lot on me as well. Even after all the patches they made for fixing the crashes.

    Sorry for that. Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well such as crashing games.

    In this case, we may need to reset the console removing everything. This will uninstall all of your games and apps but you can reinstall them later on.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    We may need to perform a reset on your console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    "Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps."
