Why does "Cast to" videos audio and video get out of Sync?

I've been having trouble with this forever. My pc and xbox are on the same network, not 3 feet apart. But when I stream an HD movie from the PC to the xbox a few minutes in the audio and video get badly out of sync and I only get stereo sound out of a 5.1
encoded movie. this is ridiculous. Anyone know how to fix this? Or at least give an explanation as to why it gets out of sync so bad?

Yes it does, there are 6 plugs on the old model of cable, 3 for SD and 3 for HD video, and when you use the 3 for HD video you use the 2 audio ones from the SD part with them.

You're confusing the actual RGB adapter (what I'm referring to, which does have two seperate L/R RCA cables for Audio) with the Component cable.

Having same issue. Very tiny videos work (like KB in size).

If I try to play a 720p 10 minute video the audio plays fine but the video turns into a slideshow.

High end PC connected to Xbox One over Gigabit Ethernet.

It's horrible.
