Why do you game?

I am a gamer and a PhD student in psychology at the University of Cambridge, and I am studying the reasons people play games and the way games can affect mood and stress. I'm really lucky to be able to spend the next few years studying the psychology of
games and the future of virtual reality!

Part of my study involves getting an idea of the most common reasons people decide to play games. If you would like to help out, you can take a quick survey that only takes about 5 minutes to complete:

Yeah, there is... Free games, Beta Access, Free DLC, Free Theme, etc dished out with PS+ .

XBL Gold just gives discounts on stuff and the ability to play online/party chat.



Out of the 2 I'd say PS+ is the better value by far, but I don't begrudge paying for XBL, so I'm not complaining... it's just the way it is...



I'm sure someone will be along to flame me, disagree, have a go, but tbh, thems the facts.
