Why do we pay so much for services

Per the terms of service you agreed to, they do not compensate for outages. At most you would get less than 10 cents for the current outage.

You could ask the same question about jeans and hamburgers, its irrelevant what someone pays in the states. As everyone points out there really is no need to pay the full whack for any game if you shop around or are prepared to hang on for a week or two.

I did the same went in on the 27th i got Far Cry 3, Tekken Tag 2(A MUST BUY for Tekken fans btw) and Hitman Absolution for £60 total.

Reason for high prices here.

The UK is seen as a rather wealthy country so its seen that prices can afford to be higher here. Look at the Wii U where in the US people claimed if it were released over $100 it would flop. The reason cost conversions are often a fair bit off to the UK
is companies see the UK as a place they can get profit from easily.

While in the US you can so "Oh they have huge houses and 3 car or more families and Pools" the issue is the bubble there is bursting the whole 99% thing is a big issue there especially since the Obama administration finally stopped subsidising Oil and Petrol
(Which was helping to artificially lower the cost of goods etc. Americans are paid far less than the UK and its only thanks to those previous Oil subsidies that the country was able to work so well until someone looked and realised how expensive it was to
keep the Oil subsidy.

TLDR: The UK is comparatively seen as rich compared to the US and other countries so companies see it as a way to maximise profit and make up for lower profits in other areas.

Or Just a place to make crap loads of money then transfer it over to pay for a training course and write it off as a Buisness expense for training Star****s staff and yes the * are intentional as I refuse to use the B in their name until they pay tax

We don't. 60 bucks is closer to £40 than it is to £30 and their price is before sales tax(if applicable) whilst ours includes VAT.

Look at the prices Australians pay, our prices are complete bargains compared to there.
