Why do we have to opt out if we do not want to change

Hey guys, I wanted to ask the question as I have been with the program since it started and I don't want to go over to the Australian rewards program as it is not as good as the US one. It is telling me I need to Opt out if I don't want to change but I have
over 17,000 rewards waiting for me and if I opt out I will lose them.

So why do we have to change when I rather stay with the US model as it is better...

The rewards program can only award you credits for purchases in the same region you signed up in. So if you signed up in the US, but move to Australia, change your Xbox account to Australia, then the program will not recognize your purchases because you're
not making them in the US.

If you post in the support section of this forum before opting out to let support know you're doing so, they will manually add your pending credits back in after you opt back in. So you won't lost any credits.

No. You would have to re-earn your VIP progress.

Don't forget, if you do switch make sure you post in the support section first so they are aware and then post again after so they can re-add your credits.
