why do they have the map pack only under onslaught?

I have not seen it in the regular rotation yet, so not sure if I believe some saying it is. Either way, I actually prefer the objective moshpit. It keeps it interesting to be switching game modes often. Also, I feel like I can be more competitive in game
modes I don't normally play and that I'm not as good in. Like when S&R comes up, I'm not in a lobby full of people that only play S&R and know all the tricks.

 

Im getting pretty annoyed that these maps STILL are not in rotation. It never takes this long. And the excuse that not enough people have bought it is a horrible excuse. So punish those who did buy it. I honestly will never buy a season pass ever again.

I think that's been sort of the "forum explanation" or theory, behind this delay. So I'm inclined to wonder if anyone has sought out an official explanation from IW. Sorta surprised ppl haven't demanded an official response or comment on this. Ppl paid
money for this dlc. It isn't free, so it isn't a privilege. Therefore we are entitled a response as to why we still cannot technically play the dlc as it is intended to be played, equally and equitably amongst all playlists. Not some isolated playlist. Honestly,
if this continues, I can see some gamer(s) with nothing better to do, except file a lawsuit for their money back, plus whatever damages the court deems just.

 

^^Yeah, sue em, its the American way.................//facepalm. You bought the maps and you CAN play them, eh? Lawsuit is over. The maps will go into "general" rotation soon enough, as with every map pack since 2006.

 

Sigh. Unfortunate to see a longtime forum member like you passing out ambiguous comments like "soon enough" and flat out misinformation while referencing this delay being identical to previous dlc dating back to 06, which is incorrect, and you know that.

 

Ok ive been playing cod since finest hour and have bought most of the map packs and it never takes this long. Were coming up on a month. If these maps were only a dollar or two id say, eh no biggie. But their like $15. Every week that goes by people say
"soon they will be in rotation" Well its kinda getting old. Im not all furious over a video game dlc, but its getting a little annoying tbh. I should have just bought each map pack seperate instead of the season pass. That way i would have known not to buy
anymore.

 

@Dino- I see your comments contributed a ton to the topic at hand? I have not bought this DLC, but I did buy every DLC map pack for CoD, as it was released, since W@W, and through MY experience EVERY DLC was released into its on DLC playlists and eventually
released into "general" rotation. I dunno exact dates (like a week or month) but it has always been this way. W@W was released in Nov 2008, not 2006, my bad. I am NOT an XBL forum administrator, but I can advise you to maybe check the Offical CoD forums relative
to any "offical" released information. As a matter of fact, the exact info you seek is probably out there in Google World.

 

Wow..Just gonna passive aggressively rage with sarcasm while simultaneously admitting you don't know what you're talking about. I don't see that too often. Anyway, check out Kings comment, it echoes my point (and like 95% of this thread).

 

like mitchell said .... there have been times where the dlc didnt go into normal rotation for some time. At least a couple weeks at times, but I dont know if ever a month.

I do know there was a serious issue in blops2 where it would only search for lobbies where everyone had the same exact dlc. I spent a lot of time sitting in the lobby searching until I moved my dlc to a flash drive and removed it. Then I could find matches
again. So if you are using blops2 as a guage for how long it should be .... dont. It was broken.

 

@Dino--What do you mean? I know exactly what I am talking about. I clearly stated that I have purchased every map pack for CoD since 2008 and every time the map packs were put in their own playlists and eventually thrown into general rotation. Again, I have
not bought this mappack, so I dont know how long its been out or whats going on with it, but TRADITIONALLY for the past 6 years, it has been the same so I am guessing its the same again this year? PS. I read Kings post and he stated he has purchased "most"
of the map packs in CoD, well, I have purchased them all (besides this year) so when I say thats how CoD does it, then, well, thats how CoD does it, amiriot?

That thread pretty much just duplicates this one . Some say they have been in rotation from day one, some say they havent.

I know one thing for sure ......... we've had this discussion with almost every dlc I can remember since I've been on this forum. That ought to say something.

Not really tired old guy. If you read it again, you might notice that a source from Activision/IW comments in it. He/she answers the problem as vaguely and ambiguously as possible, without explaining why this delay occurred or when it will see resolution.
That's far from any answers we've seen here in this thread,, even though his post is essentially a non-answer. Uneasy, traditionally, it has NEVER been this way, and that too was discussed by other cod enthusiasts in that link as well. Beyond that, I'm

^^I dont understand? You say its NEVER been done this way. It has always been done this way. Map packs are released into their on playlist and later put into general rotation. I am not keeping up with this DLC, but I am hearing it was released in its own
playlists and will later be put into rotation. Whats different? Is the time from its own playlist until general rotation the "gripe"? I dont claim to know everything, but I will try to help if possible. I just need things broken down into laymens term, if
