Why do the new Xbox controllers suck

I’ve had many gaming systems over the years. I’ve had many controllers for gaming systems. In fact, I still have my GameCube from 15 years ago and I still have the 2 controllers I bought with it and both of them still work flawlessly to this day. I have an Xbox 360 as well and of the 4 controllers I have 3 of them still work and one does not because that was the one I let my little brother use. The point is I take good care of my stuff. I don’t drop or throw my controllers. Long story short, I got an Xbox series S a little over a year ago. And I have had 4 controllers for it, and all 4 have had issues including the one that came with the console. I’ve had buttons get sticky and stop working, but the most annoying thing I have experienced with ALL of them is drift. I didn’t even know what drift was before owning this console. You can’t fix it. Once your controller decides it’s time to absolutely **** you in the ****, you’re done. No more gaming for you. I have killed myself on accident so many times in games because my character will randomly decide to walk off a cliff for no reason at all. I cannot play almost any game the way it was intended to be played because I CANNOT CONTROL MY CHARACTER AT ALL! And like I said, this just randomly happens. I don’t break my things. But I have thought about hurling these controllers over my apartment balcony now on multiple occasions because of how often this causes me to lose games. WHY IS IT LIKE THIS!??! And where the hell do I get a controller that will actually maybe last a year before it goes bad. I know this is a long rant, but I have had ENOUGH!! **** you Microsoft, and **** **** **** your **** controllers. I should have gotten the PlayStation 5 because I might actually be able to simply PLAY MY GAMES on there.

Yeah well in order to get a ps5 you either would have struggled or youd be getting one now with an additional 100$ on top of any version of the console.

The controllers are bad that Microsoft has been pumping out, but youd rather replace a controller and be able to buy a console vs wait 2 years then pay an additional 100$ on top of the promised price. Then hope your ps5 doesn't go up in flames.

Microsoft - your X/S Controllers are the worst I've ever had the displeasure of using. I need to **** HAMMER the xbox button in for it to register most of the time and have stickdrift even tho i literally use my mouse and keyboard most of the time. IDK what the **** you guys were smoking when you made those controllers.

Be glad sony **** the bed is all im gonna say, cuz if they did know how to sell stuff I too would be getting a 5 vs dealing with these cardboard controllers

I recommend just getting a 3rd party controller. Or you know stick it to Microsoft and get a ps5/pc

Edit: Oh and the 3 friends with whom i got xboxs on the same day all say the same thing....

You'll find Xbox, Nintendo and Sony all use the same analog mechanisms in their controllers

There is a reason why they made the S controller and then a better Xbox 360 controller. The Duke controllers sucked.
