Why do the innocent get banned

why is it I get cursed at but I end up with 24 hr communication ban ?

My brother was banned from xbox till 12/31/9999

Ok so my brother was banned because somehow some scumbag managed to get into his account and do something to get him banned its not right because not only did he not do anything wrong he had spent over 4000 dollars at least he claims on that account and
he was in tears when it got banned... i was told that if the account was proven innocent the ban could be lifted so thats why im posting this... banned accuont ----> GT: Agress Success

Terms of service. Some players are not getting punished for being racist.

It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished. In situations like that, it's best to just report the other person and block communications with them instead of responding.

You should probably actually ask your son why he was really banned. But don't worry little timmy is probably innocent and would never do anything wrong on his electronic babysitting device.

No they won't and I don't know why people continue to think that IP bans are of any use.

The person could simply reset their router, get a new IP, and the old one is moved on to some innocent person who has done nothing wrong. That's why they don't ban IPs.
