Why do question threads get locked on the same day they are posted?

Threads can be locked/posts deleted for various reasons based on the forum guidelines. Especially when the topic is in regards to violating the terms of service.

Hey there, TubeLugs! Hopefully I can clear up what happens when threads are locked here on the support side of things.

There are several reasons why a thread would be locked. In the support forums, we lock them if they are not support questions, if they are older posts, or if we are trying to direct other users to a specific thread so that they post in there. Even if they
don't have an answer, the older posts especially have likely been resolved. Most times, before a Support agent locks a thread, we make a post explaining why it is locked. The general discussion forums can have locked threads for different reasons, though.

If you need assistance with a support issue, please do not hesitate to post up a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've completed. This way our community can get you the individual support that works best on the forums.

For what i saw on that posted that you made, first, matters like enforcement are not used here, we always send to enforcement website. Enforcement as their website, and should visit him for getting more information.

Second, you posted like a question and you marked as helpfull, for what I understand you are doing a discussion and not a question, so you should made that post as a discussion and not as a question.

When you post about enforcement (and i explained above) and at same time you marked the ambassador answer like been helpful the thread is locked for preventing more answers, based on the fact that as a reply marked as helpful for the user that make that
question.

I hope that you understand now how it works, and why the thread was locked, not for what you said but based on the rules of community forums.

Reason why it was locked is he changed the thread to the post you see now. That is when I locked it. As the original question was no longer available.

Just noticed my DISCUSSION about ignoring players has been locked AND I can't post a question asking why as a new thread. Why? (thats TWO questions, please answer BOTH or don't answer at all)

I didn't see this one when I replied earlier. I'm not sure which thread you're referring to but I locked several because they were discussing the same topics across several threads (i.e. it was an effort to consolidate discussions), and others were locked
because you were choosing to ignore valid answers and there's little point in keeping a Support thread open when that's the case.

Still happy to try to figure out why you're occasionally having issues posting to the forums if you want to provide some additional details, as mentioned in my last post.
