Why do modders run free on COD BO2

why is nothing being done about the modders on Call of Duty Black Ops 2. I used to play this game a lot. Recently my son bought me a gift card for Xbox Live. So I started playing Black Ops 2 again. But then the modders got so thick in core it was unplayable.
There weren't any modders in hardcore so I started playing that and within a couple 3-4 weeks hardcores been inundated with modders. They ruined about 25% of the games seems there's one Mater and almost every game sometimes. I forgot to take off the auto Renew
on my Xbox Live and was charged for three more months only to not be able to play because of the modders. Might be time to move to PlayStation

Black Ops 2 doing better than Halo 4

Exactly I totally agree with you! In BO2 all you do is kill people get a killstreak then die then do it again , I honestly don't get why kids keep playing it, but if they wanna waste their money on a wasteful game let them more less
annoying kids for Halo and escpcially less modders every cod games has hackers and modders unlike Halo it doesn't have as much modders and has a interesting story and fantastic graphics and MP R.I.P Bungie best game

I do not understand why I do not play when I was suspended. This is the last time I played bo2 and fortnite there is that bo2 when I meet modders xbox 360 was lobbying I did not do anything. please do you can remove the suspension thank you

If you think someone has tampered with the service just report or block them.

Furthermore you should know that game servers are run by the game developers so you might want to post this at the Activision forums as well

Oh sure. That is why older CoD games are completely Modder free.

GUNZY, 1 out 3 lobbies is modded, it's misery. Me and my friends report probably 10 modders a day. We have reported, we have called, seriously, nothing is done. I had a modder erase all my stats on BO2 and send me a message saying "WE RULE THE USA." WHY
DO I HAVE TO DEAL WITH 360 MODDERS WHEN I'M ON AN XBOX1?" Backwards compatibility is completely ruining the experience for XBOX 1 players.

This is why for the first time ever I am not buying a CoD/MW game. Activision have got enough cash to run the game on dedicated servers which would get rid of the lag compesation, modders, hackers and glitchers.
