We understand that you need help lag on your Xbox.

There are several ways to fix lag on your Xbox. You can try the following steps.

1. Turn your equipment off and on. This step will refresh both your console and your Wi-Fi.
   
2. Restart your modem, router, and Xbox. Unplug each device and wait 30 seconds before plugging them back in.
   
3. Clear your cache from the console. Save your current game and back up your progress. Turn the console off > Unplug the power cable from the back of the Xbox (not from the wall). Wait 5–10 minutes to allow your console to clear the cache.
   
4. Change your stream quality based on stream test results.
   

Open your Xbox app > Go to Settings from the left hamburger menu > Under Video encoding level, change your stream quality > Start your streaming from the Xbox One again, and see if there are any lags.

Kindly check first if the specific game has audio settings on which you can verify if it's muted or not. Make sure it is not muted. If everything is good in the audio settings of the game. Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Uninstall and reinstall the game.
