Why do I no longer have access to some of my digital games?

After the big console update, some of my digital games had the warning sign on them and said I don't own them when I clearly bought them and had been playing them prior! This is absolutely outrageous and I have been robbed!

(Edit: The only game that isn't working is Secret Neighbour.)

In that case, you could try contacting Xbox Support, but without proof or purchase I'm not sure if they will be able to help further.

I also advise double-checking if the game was purchased on a different account.

No it hasn't helped. I have no idea why but the game does not appear in my previous purchases anymore. It's just vanished even though it was a redeemed code a couple years back.

Try searching for the game on the store. It should say ‘purchased’. if it’s not there the license may have been removed.
