    Why do I need to reset all my stuff?


    I got on the BF4 game today and had to reset everything from guns to vehicles. Why has this happened? This has never happened before. I have also seen where servers are not listed after they have been saved to my favorites.

    DHCP?!

    i don't use DHCP at home on my network at all, i have all my stuff and all my 5 kids worth of stuff set static within a certain ip range. simple to do and the router does not need DHCP active to connect wirelessly.

    But to make things simple for this user, best thing to do is factory reset the router as this fixes most of these wifi connection issues.

    Thanks, I did do the factory reset and the console is up and running again. I do have to re-install everything but the data seems to be there for all my games and stuff, just need to sync with the almighty cloud. Thanks again KalawangBoy!

    No,everything is tied to the account that bought it so if you do a reset that resets everything you'll just log in with your account & redownload any games you've bought.

    ... and your saves are in the cloud.

    But if there is an issue with your console a soft factory reset often helps. Soft means you can keep the games and settings when asked. You only have to download your account anew at the end of the reset.

    This method is much faster than a full reset.

    So i fixed it, i just had to do a reset on my xbox, its fine now and works and stuff, i still dont know why it happened though.
