Why do I keep receiving used XBOX elite series 2 controllers from Microsoft?

I'm on my second xbox elite series 2 controller. The first one I sent back because I unboxed it and noticed blemishes all over the underside of the grips (seemed like a refurbished product). I called support, and they apologized and sent me a new one. Well lone behold, the second one arrived with the same issue. I've read on the forums that these controllers have had QC issues, so not sure if I keep playing this carousel of replacing the controller until one arrives unblemished or ditch Microsoft all together.

They do typically send refurbished back and not brand new. So it's up to you if you want to continue to try to return them to see if you get a better one or not.

Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam
