⚠︎ Why do I keep having these minor audio issues with recording/streaming gameplay??

I understand that you are experiencing issues with audio when recording/streaming gameplay.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please update your controller firmware because an outdated firmware can cause audio problems. You can update it by going to Settings > Devices & Accessories and checking for updates.

And then adjust audio settings. To do this, press the Xbox button, go to Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output, and test it out with different settings.

Next is to enable HDMI audio. If you're using an HDMI connection, make sure it's properly configured in Settings > Display & Sound > Audio Output.

Then perform a hard reset by holding the Power button on your console for several seconds until it turns off, unplug it for a minute, then restart

After that, kindly test it out and see if the audio works.

I don't stream, but I have noticed that when I record clips and gameplay there is no audio in the .mp4 files when I go to watch them. I don't know if this is an issue with Game DVR or the Xbox 360 compatibility on the Xbox One.

The closest you can get to watching/recording RB4 gameplay is watching someone stream it through Twitch. The licensing issue is why you can't record game clips. I doubt it'll be available at all in RB4's lifespan.
