Why do I keep getting this Error Code 0x80080207 ?

This error means that an app cannot install or update. This can be due to an anti-virus or firewall program which is blocking access to the Windows Store for whatever reason. It can also be due to region or time/date being set to a different time.

Go into your anti-virus or firewall settings and make sure that the Windows Store as well as any other pertinent apps have access.

You can also try these steps:

Method 1: Run the app troubleshooter.

Open that link to run the troubleshooter

Method 2: Disable Proxy Connections and check if you are using a proxy connection, then try disabling proxy and then try to purchase.

a)Open Internet Explorer

b)Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options

c)Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings

d)Uncheck the Use Proxy server

e)Click Apply and Ok to save changes.

Method 3: Check date and time

a)On the start screen type "Date and Time" and open it from the settings option.

b)Correct the date and time if it is wrong as well as the Time Zone.

Method 4: Check Region settings

a)Type "Region" on the Start screen and click "Settings" and hit enter.

b)Under the "Location" tab make sure the region selected is where you are.

Method 5: Reset store cache

a)Right Click the Start screen (bottom left hand corner)

b)Click "Run"

c)Type: "WSReset.exe" and hit enter

Method 6:Check if the issue exists in clean boot.

aha! Tried to update apps (nothing), but this time when I clicked on "get details" of why Solitaire couldn't be installed, I got an error code 0x80080207

I uninstalled Microsoft Solitaire Collection because my computer was very slow. When I try to reinstall, I get an error code 0x80080207.

I have since been able to get Solitaire working again after uninstalling and reinstalling. I did as you suggested and checked for updates in the settings and none were available. When I try to reinstall Mahjong I get an error code: 0x80080207

I have been at this all night. I uninstalled all eleven app's. I reinstalled all except on the last two I get the same error message. I restarted my computer and tried again. The two I paid for. They are Asphalt7: Heat and Adera. The error code is 0X80080207.
I have all my medals and achievements that I earned for all app's. In reinstalling app's I can use the sore app to get to the store again. Do you have a clue what the code means? I have all my updates for apps and the computer. I am at a loss what to do next.
