    Why do I keep getting disconnected from my xbox parties?


    Ok, so this has been an ongoing problem for around 2 years now where I will get kicked from xbox parties and I honestly have no idea why. My Internet connection is good. It's nothing wrong with the xbox software. It doesn't happen to anyone else in my house it's just my account even other people that play on the xbox don't get disconnected it exclusively happens to my account, does anyone know what may be the problem?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    We may just need to perform troubleshooting steps such as removing and re-adding your account.

    "REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

    ​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

    3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

    4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

    ​​​

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    ADD ACCOUNT​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

    3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

    4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

    5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​"

    Since you have gone through several troubleshooting steps, if you could follow this link once more

    forums.xbox.com/.../155724.aspx     and provide us with the most up-to-date X, Y, and Z codes, that would be great. That way we can see the most current console network status.

    Ok! So the Thomson TCW 770 is the only gateway you have connected to the Internet?

    Since that is not recommended that you have UPnP, Port Forwarding and DMZ enabled at the same time, I would suggest that you turn off UPnP, DMZ and leave Port Forwarding turned on. Save/Apply these changes and reboot your gateway. Could you tell me how you've
    configured Port Forwarding?

    From the looks of it, it seems that your ISP is the one doing any necessary update regarding the firmware on your Thomson gateway.

    I am sorry, i made a mistake, it is not a cisco, it is a thomson tcw 770. Port Forwarding and DMZ host are enabled and with the xbox's ip, in the Triggering part, i have put nothing....

    BTW, how can I know if the router is up-to-date with the latest version?
