Why do i keep getting disconnect while playing 360 backwards compatibility games on the...

Why are you guys requesting so many 360 games now after microsoft announced that they will no longer be new backwards compatible games coming to xbox one?

Thanks for the heads up. I was not aware this past June was the final list of backward compatible games. Guess I'm keeping my 360 for a while longer. Still love playing it!.

The "Backwards Compatibility" only exists for games that they have told the XBox ONE to recognise as "Backwards Compatible".

Most of the games on the XBox 360 simply will not work on the XBox ONE.

Microsoft will claim the reason they can't make everything available at once is that they need a Publisher's permission to make the game Backwards Compatible.

But the real reason Backwards Compatibility exists is to lure XBox 360 owners who have been on the fence for a while into the false supposition that they will be able to play their 360 games on the ONE.

If you could do that... why not buy a ONE?

So....do I have to be playing the same (backwards compatible) game as them or can I just play any (Backwards compatible) game I wish and open the 360 UI that way? Further more why not work the 360 UI chat system into the Xbox one system?

I don't get why people are crying about backwards compatability most people who buy a new console will be playing new games. If it's that big a deal to this small amount of people to play old games just keep your 360 problem solved.

When using Live on backwards compatible games, there will actually be two instances of you signed in, one for Xbox One, and another for Xbox 360. This is how it's meant to work be design.

This is so while playing any Xbox game, be it Xbox One or Xbox 360, you can still receive messages and game invites and use all the other functions of the console. You can also use the same account on an Xbox One and an Xbox 360 at the same time. Again,
this is by design.

If BC titles were to be modified to act purely as Xbox One games, this would break the multiplayer element, and the ability to play with players that are still playing these older games on an Xbox 360.

Are you having disconnection issues using backwards compatibility on the Xbox One? Do you frequently disconnect while playing online with BC titles?
