Why do I keep getting connections error to host server on xbox one playing or trying to...

I got mine to play but I keep getting multiplayer errors loosing connection to host/server or it says cod server not available at this time(wtf) ive only made it through one match uninterrupted..ive reset everything..still having issues. I also would like
some compensation.

from my best understanding: host connection goes to server, server outlays connections to all players without prejudice to the host (they coded this way to try and roadblock the unfair host advantage). Upload determines how well you send that info to the
sever, upload/download together determines how well you are connected to the server itself. Under this structure it's sometimes possible for the host to have a worse connection than other players if the host's connection is far behind another player's. If
it gets awful that's why the host migrates or the connection is terminated.

One thing to consider is server load. A less popular game will take less server load than a popular game from a multi-million dollar studio (such as MW3, etc). The more connections, the more likely the chance of lag since the game is trying to serve each
player equally to keep the experience the same for everyone as much as possible. That's why there are almost ALWAYS server issues the first week of a popular game's release.

Another thing to consider is the difference between a dedicated server (such as BF3) as the host and the "User with the best connection" (such as every COD and GRFS) being the host. A dedicated host has less of a chance for lag, and you will NEVER see a
host migration if the strongest connection leaves or disconnects.

Both of these factors contribute to connection issues, lag, and other such things.

Dedicated servers are in demand because the average person on Xbox doesn't have a connection that is strong enough to host other players. If there is no dedicated servers that means you are forced to play on other peoples connection. That's where host advantage
comes into play. Also, people can standby and manipulate the connection if they have host, which is extremely annoying. You will be lagging so bad that you can't move while they have no lag whatsoever. This is why everyone would rather play on a dedicated
host.

Why/how would you wind up connected to server on the other side of the world other than trying to play with a friend there, in which case p2p probably wouldn't work at all. Plus no more waiting for host migrating with a dedicated server. Servers are always
better than p2p unless you are the host and want to gain an advantage
