Why do I keep getting billed for Xbox? I never owned an xbox

Just to confirm, if you go to your Microsoft account subscription tab. Are you able to see an active subscription or not at all?

In case you have more than one email address please check on each one.

If you don't find anything, in these situations the best option is dispute the charge with your bank and ask them for a refund.

Because it seems that someone is using your payment information without your knowledge/authorization
To avoid this situation again, I can advice you too ask them to give you a new card and delete the old one

why do people keep their accounts on a friends xbox.... its just stupid.... then they complain they cant get on their account and then wonder why... never trust putting your account on anyone elses xbox but your own!

Contact support and they should be able to turn off auto-renewal for you.

"Turning off recurring billing will stop future charges for a subscription and give you its benefits until the expiration date. You can also unsubscribe immediately and receive a refund, however, not all subscription charges can be refunded."

As you can see in the previous article, it is most likely that it keeps asking you to reactivate billing because you are enjoying some temporary benefits of the subscription you canceled. And when the expiration date arrives, those benefits will disappear. Therefore, the system reminds you to reactivate periodic billing.

Also because of this happening again, now it wants me to download my Xbox 360 profile to my Xbox One and it gets a certain point in downloading and I get an error saying I can't do it at this time. Why do I need to download my profile when I never had to
before? Now I can't play any Xbox 360 games in my Xbox One now because of this typical annoying garbage that keeps on happening. I get issues with RDR as well where it keeps asking me at times if I own the game when my disc is in my Xbox One.
